William Perry Casada was born on September 21, 1858 in Cedar Sinking, Wayne, Kentucky, United States, son of John Lewis Stenson Cassada (1823–1902) and Elizabeth Jane Stodghill (1826–1912).
In the 1860 census William (age 1) was in Wayne, Kentucky, livingwith his parents Lewis and Elizabeth.[1]
William (17) married Mary Elizabeth Gholson (16) (born on June 3, 1859 in Wayne; daughter of George Washington Gholson and Jemima Ann (Dodson) Gholson) on January 29, 1876 in Wayne. Their children were:
