Angélique Casavant was born on 14 May 1790 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Charles sur Richelieu parish. She was the daughter of Louis Casavant and his wife Angélique Fontaine. Godparents at Angélique's baptism were François Guilmin and Angélique Casavant [sic]. At age 22 Angélique married Pierre Coderre on 9 Oct 1809 in Sainte-Famille parish in Boucherville. There are eight known children born into this marriage. She passed away in 1865. Angélique died at age 75 on 13 Aug 1865; she was buried the next day in Notre-Dame de Granby parish cemetery in Granby, Shefford, Bas-Canada.
