Marie Anne Cazavan was born on 9 Aug 1736 and baptized the following day in Saint-François-Xavier parish of Verchères, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Pierre Casavan dit Ladébauche and Angélique Huet. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Gabriel Guertin and Marie Anne Garault. The officiating priest was C. Lajemmerais.[1]
Marriage
Marie Anne Cazavan married Jean Baptiste Bouvier, son of Michel Bouvier and Marie Catherine Emery, on 6 May 1754 in Saint-François-Xavier de Verchères. In the presence of known witnesses Jean Baptiste Palerdy and Charles Paquet. The celebrant priest was Devoble.[2]
Death and Burial
Marie Anne Ladébauche, widow Bouvier, passed away on 13 Apr 1787 being given the age of around 58 years on the record. Her burial was the following day in Saint-Ours, Province de Québec.[3]
