Biography

Blasia Cascio is born and baptized on 4 May 1869, the daughter of Bernardo Cascio and Angela Morreales. She is baptized Blasiam. Her godparents are Joannes Trapani and Bernarda Cascio.

Blasia's brother is found in the same volume of baptismal records, with the last name "lo Cascio." The names are in the same index. I have found a couple of other individuals, besides their father Bernardo, who are sometimes referred to as Cascio, and at other times as Lo Cascio: Giuseppe and Biagio.

Biagia dies the day after she is born. The Church record of her death calls her Blasius, a boy: a common error in these infant death records.
