Biagia Castro is born and baptized on 25 May 1823, named after her paternal grandmother. She is the daughter of Settimo Castro and Giuseppa Trumbatore. Her godparents are Carmelo Crapisi and Giuseppa, wife of Luca Crapisi.
Biagia marries at least twice, first to Salvatore Marsalisi (b. ~1800), on 13 November 1842. Her parents have both died by this time.
Biagia and Salvatore have at least seven children: Antonia (1843), Antonino (1845), two sons named Calogero (1849 and 1851), Liboria (c. 1855), Giuseppa (1856), and Salvatrice (1860).
Antonia, named after her paternal grandmother, is born and baptized on 12 October 1843. Her godparents are Francesco Rizzotto and Lucia Rizzotto, brother and sister.
Antonino, named after his paternal grandfather, is born 20 December 1845 and baptized the next day. His godparents are Joannes Cascio and Rosalia la Rosa, a married couple.
Biagia and Salvatore do not evidently name a child Settimo ("Seventh") after Biagia's father.
The first son named Calogero is born and baptized on 23 August 1849. His godparents are Francesco Fontanetta and Bernarda Cuccia. He dies on 14 October 1850 at a year of age.
The second son named Calogero is born and baptized on 21 August 1851. His godparents are Pietro di Gregorio and Giuseppa Colletto, a married couple.
Liboria is known only from the record of her death in infancy, on 16 August 1855.
Giuseppa is born 19 December 1856 and baptized Josepham the next day, named after her maternal grandmother. Her godparents are Joseph di Puma and Rosa Grizzaffi, a married couple.
Giuseppa dies on 7 August 1857 at eight months of age.
Salvatore dies at age 60 (b. 1800) on 23 July 1860. Biagia, who is eight months pregnant, survives him.
Salvatrice is born and baptized Salvatricem on the day of her birth, 31 August 1860, named in memory of her father. Salvatrice's godparents are Nuntius Salemi and Francisca Paula Trombadore, a married couple.
Salvatrice dies on 6 November 1861 at fourteen months of age.
Antonia marries Vincenzo Militello on 8 September 1863.
Biagia remarries on 17 February 1875 to Giuseppe Rizzo, who is also a widower.
The surviving Calogero marries Rosa Napoli on 9 January 1876.
Giuseppe dies four years later, at age 73 (b. 1806) on 4 August 1879. Biagia survives him.
Biagia dies at age 71 (b. 25 May 1823) on 22 January 1895 at 1:15 PM.
