Biography
Carmela Castro is born and baptized on 6 July 1823, named after her paternal aunt. She is the daughter of Calogero Castro and Giuseppa Monteleone. Her godparents are Rosario and Pietra Marino, a married couple.
Carmela dies on 27 July 1823 at three weeks of age. This record calls her father "Francesco."
