Adelith Ellen was born about 1897 in Kinney County, Texas to James Isaac and Salina Jeffers Casey. She was the 3rd of 7 children. She married Arthur Virgil Yancy and had at least 3 children. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 82 and is buried in the Westlawn Cemetery in Val Verde County, Del Rio, Texas
