Mary was born on 23 January 1860 in Fremantle, Western Australia.[1][2] She is the daughter of James Casey and Maria Maxworthy.

She married James Fay in 1885 at Fremantle.[3]

FAY.—On July 17, 1907, at Fremantle, Mary Ann, the beloved wife of James Fay. Aged 47 years.[4]
