Biography
Sarah Cash was born in England.
Sarah Cash was born in 1852.[1] Her parents were Jeremiah Cash and Elizabeth Martin.
Sarah lived in Darfield, Yorkshire all her life. In 1861 she and her sister were at the home of her Joseph and Mary Cash, her aunt and uncle.[2] In 1871 and 1881 she was living with her mother in Darfield.[3][4] Her father had passed away in 1869.[5]
Sarah passed away on 25 June 1884, age 32, and was buried in in Darfield Church Yard, Darfield, Yorkshire.[6][7] A monumental inscription in Darfield All Saints Church yard reads: [7]
- In loving memory of Jeremiah CASH of Darfield who died July 24th 1869 aged 62 years
- also Ellen daughter of the above who died May 7th 1859 aged 2 years
- also Sarah daughter of the above who died June 25th 1884 aged 32 years
- also Elizabeth Margaret wife of the above who died April 30th 1885 aged 67 years
- also Emily their daughter who died June 28th 1887 aged 33 years
