Biography

Dora was born in 1895. She was the daughter of Harry Cason and Hannah Gayfer.

In 1901, at the age of 5, Dora is living in Alpha Villa, Tyne Road, Ilford, Essex, with her parents Harry age 36, Hannah age 32, and her sisters Ada age 11 and Elsie age 3.

In 1911, at the age of 15, Ada is living at 30 Uphall Road, Ilford, Essex, with her parents Harry age 46, Hannah age 42, and her sisters Ada age 21 and Elsie age 13. Dora is a Drapers assistant.

On 23 Dec 1923, Dora married Hector William Marshall, at Great Ilford, St Alban the Martyr, Essex, England.

In 1939, Dora is living in Hornchurch, Essex, England, with her husband Hector, who is an Internal Combustion Engine Fitter, and their son Maurice (born 16 Jun 1927).
