Biography
Corporal Edmond Cason served in the Kentucky Militia in the War of 1812 Service started: J1812 Unit(s): Kentucky Militia (Miller's) Service ended: 1814
Edmond was born in 1770.
Notes
Argument that Edmond Cason is the father of William Cason: Both are found in Gasconade County, Missouri, and are in fact listed in the 1828 Tax list. The 1850 US Census for Missouri lists William Cason as being born in Kentucky, from which Edmond also came. There are very few Casons listed in the early censuses, and the simplest explanation that fits these facts is that they are related. Their ages would make one the father and the other the son.
