John Howard Casper (born July 9, 1943) is an American astronaut and United States Air Force pilot.

1943 Born in Greenville, Greenville, South Carolina, USA.
1966 Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science, United States Air Force Academy, joined the Air Force. During his Air Force career, he was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals and eleven Air Medals.
