John R and Mary Jane (Burns) Cass both of Kentucky had 13 children.

On 2 Jun 1870, Benjamin T Bice, Ass't Marshal, for Buffalo Hart Township, Sangamon County, Illinois, reports John R Cass household in between Thomas W Curtis and Thomas Wilson households.^[2]
