The biography for A. R. Selby
A. R. Selby was born in the USA, but brought up in Australia. At the age of 6 her parents divorced over many circumstances, leaving 3 children including A. R. Selby, to be split up and devastated in the wake, the children choose their parents, 2 with her mother(including her), one with her father. The Break was hard and all children were hugely affected, and used during the divorce. The 2 Parents remarried, the mother being the first, the 2 children were taken to Australia, were the step father was born, and were educated and raised in Australia, in Victoria in 1989 on 13th of June, the 2 children choose a name change of the step father, So A. R. Cassel became A. R. Selby, so that it made it easier in the school system, and so no questions were asked. Mr Selby took full responsibility for the 2 children, but adoption, did not occur. Due to the stuff that transpired, A. R. Selby, grew up mourning the loss of family, as she had over 100 cousins in the states, including 2nd & 3rd & 4th cousins. So She started learning how to research... She started on the Cassel family, and then learn't how easy information of similar people can get confused especially same names. Thought I tracked my line to Germany, Then realized this one person had 3 wife's, and 2 of the woman were married at the same time in 1880, so they couldn't be the same people, the one line, that had the least info was my line, and I had to continue, and remove the old line, that was incorrect, which meant I had to go back and start from the info I found in that census. A. R. Selby has a passion for learning and discovering more information, and at this time is slowly working through dead ends.
A. R. Selby is in a firm relationship which has been going since 2006, and doesn't wish to have children, although, has many little nephews and nieces.
When She was little she begged her parents for a tricycle, and called it her hot rod, black just like the Knight Rider TV Show car & calls her self NightRaider in the gaming world but everyone mistakes it for KnightRider.
She loathes Pink! But every one including her own mother would purchase pink items for her. She had a shaggy dog ... it was really a sweet dog.

We have been working on setting up the Portal World-the Netherlands Project so now it's official.
On that page, we have a member sticker and category that you can add to your own profile and a tag for following us on G2G.
Here are the Portal pages we need some help with. We would ask that you send a Trusted List request for the portals you wish to work on or are interested in.
Thanks for joining and hope to see or hear from you soon :-)

Feel free to work on any of the Dutch portals you like. My take is that the sources you find will define which portal(s) is/are applicable to in other words, if you find a source that is applicable to multiple countries, you add it to all the countries portals.
For example, I am Canadian and so I concentrate on that one but I have worked on several other portals. It is up to you to decide which ones you work on.
I am not going split the members into time zones or anything else. Go where you feel comfortable and/or the sources lead.
Having said that I am looking for someone to co-manage the Australian portal. If you are interested, please send me a trusted list request.

I was wondering if perhaps you would be interested to work on the Portal World-The Netherlands with Melissa and Bill and hopefully more members ? I was thinking maybe we can make it a sub Project of the Dutch Roots Project, where you all can add or work on more specific things related to the Netherlands you would like to see added there or work on.
If you are interested just add your name to the list and let me know, or you can of course contact Melissa or Bill directly.
