Phillip Cassidy was convicted in 1830 at the Enniskillen Assize of killing his landlord's horse, and was transported to Australia on the Hercules 11 (1830). Sentenced to life. His conduct on the voyage descibed as being very good. Muster on Hercules II 4th Nov 1830 says Phillip is 21 years old, 5 feet 7 1/4 inches. Ruddy, freckled complexion. Brown hair, Hazel eyes. How disposed of - Gov't Domain Parramatta. [1][2][3] [4][5][6][7]

Phillip married Bridget HALLARAN on 27 Sep 1838 at St Patricks, Parramatta, NSW, Australia[8][9] [10]and they had 9 children together.

Phillip obtained his Ticket of Leave on 23 Dec 1838 and subsequently between 1842-1845 his Conditional Pardon 46/176.[11][12][13][14]

Death certificate indicates aged 76, indicates year of birth is 1805, Phillip died of cancer on 16 Oct 1881. Phillip is buried in the Catholic Section of Windsor Cemetery. Witness at burial John Ryan. the Informant for the death was John CASSIDY, his son. [15][16][17]
