"In the Name of God Amen, I Shadrack Casteel of Flintstone Creek Cumberland Valley Township and Bedford County v Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Farmer being in perfect strength of mind and memory. Thanks be to God for all of his mercies and calling to mind the mortalitty of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner and (journful Lowing vozt).
First i reccomend my soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body, I reccomend to the earth to buried in the decetrion of my executors in a decent Christian manner, and touching such worldly estates at it hathe pleased God to bless me with.
I give and dispose of thee same in the manner and form to with, I give and bequeth unto my dearly and beloves wife Luraner Casteel choices of my forty acres and the choice of my cows one togehter with her bed and bedding together with all my household furniture and the rest of my estate to be sold and the money collected for her uses after all of my debts and funeral expenses is paid together with all my cash and debts that there is to collect to _____ herfull part and testrimony.
Then i bequeth unto my son Archibel Casteel the land i now live on to the mouth of the Muddy Run and from there N\Othe creek to Bill Blares line and Archibel is to pay to my son Zadick twenty five pounds current money of Pennyslvania to be paid one full year after my decease.
Then i give and beqweath to my daughter Elizabeth Whiticar fifteen pounds current money of Pennyslvania in two full years after my desease to be paid by Archibel heir.
I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Casteel fifty pounds current money of Pennsylvania, twenty five pounds to be paid three full years after my desease and the other twenty five pounds to be paid in four years after my disease to be paid by my son Archibel,
I then give and bequeth to my son Jesse Casteel all my land below the mouth of the fore said Run to remain his property and to his (proper youse) and behafe to go with a strate line up a holler (Crofs) the land and i apoint my son Archald to take case of my beloved wife and he is to bild her a dwelling house on his part of the suitable for her to live in and to take care of her during her life., and do hereby constitute my derely beloved wife Lurana Casteel and Archiby Casteel my son to be my whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testatment and do uttley disannul all former wills testaments bequeaths and executers here to fore made ratifiying and confirming this and no other as my last will and testament in witness where of i have here unto set my hand and seal this twenty four day of September one thousand seven hundred and ninety four and in the twenty first year of independence of the United States of America Signed sealed published and delivered by him The said Shadrack Casteel as his last will and testament in the presents of us

Befoire me John Andereson Esquire register of probate of wills and grating letters of administration in and for the County of Bedford in the state of Pennsylvania personally came this within named David Jackson and Bill Blare the two subscribing wittnesses to the above instrument of writting and on their soleom oaths taken before me to say that they were personally present and heard and gave the within named Shadrack Castreel sign seal publish pronounce and declare the said instrument of writting to be his last will and testament that at the time of doing the same the said Shadrack Casteel was of sound and _____ mind of memory accounting to the best of these informants knowledge and belief and that they subscribed their names there in his presence and at his request.
