Biography

His middle name may have been "Franklin", but no definitive evidence of that has been found, as of 20 Jun 2017.

He was a farmer. His birth was in Hopkins County, but he had relocated to Princeton, Caldwell County, Kentucky, by 1870.

Donald C Wilkey's compiled family tree, acknowledged below, says that Benjamin F Castleberry died in 1890. In the absence of firm documentation, one can only say with certainly that his death occurred between 1885 and 1900.
