Biography
Wallace was born in 1922 in Hawera, Taranaki. His parents were Ernest Cate and Dorothea (Jones) Cate.
Wallace met Betty Tucker at the Ashburton Baptist Church. After a long engagement, during which Wallace served in World War II, they were married at the church in 1946. Their children:[1]
