17th Regiment of (Light) Dragoons

The 17th Regiment of (Light) Dragoons was an light cavalry regiment of the British Army. Originally raised in 1759 when King George II augmented the Cavalry Corps with five Regiments of Light Cavalry, numbered 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st Regiments of Light Dragoons.
