9th Battalion Canadian Railway Troops

Organized in July 1915 as 1st Pioneer Battalion under the command of Lieutenant Colonel A. E. Hodgins.
Transferred to Canadian Railway Troops on 6 March 1916.
Arrived in France 9 March 1916.
Redesignated as 9th Battalion Canadian Railway Troops on 17 May 1917. Commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel W. H. Moodie.
Demobilized at Victoria.
Disbanded by General Order 196 of 1 November 1920.
