Sailed London 18 September 1839 - The Adelaide with 176 settlers of the New Zealand Company sailed to New Zealand under Captain William Campbell, one of a small fleet including Aurora, Duke of Roxburgh, and Bengal Merchant, plus the freight vessel Glenbervie due to rendezvous with Oriental at Port Hardy, d'Urville Island on the 10th January 1840. She arrived with the Tory and Glenbervie in Port Nicholson (Wellington) 7th March 1840
