The Immigrant ship Alma built in 1855 at Leith in Scotland by John Rose. She weighed 546 - 592 tons. and was owned by Gilkison & Co., registered in Port Glasgow.

She made as many as 6 voyages to the South Australian colony in the 1900s. Not to be confused with a much larger ship of the same name built in Quebec which sailed to New Zealand in the same time period.

On the 15th of December 1861 this Alma was driven ashore at Robe in South Australia, and was totally wrecked.
