This category and the subcategories under it are managed through cooperation between the Canada Project, the Categorization Project, and the Notables Project. This category hierarchy is intended to list provincial and territorial commissioners and premiers who were born or worked in Canada. (You may have noticed that most of the parallel categories to this category have the word "Notable" in the category name, and wonder why this category isn't set aside for "notable" politicians from Canada. The reason for that is that Wikipedia seems to regard any politician who has ever been elected to any office anywhere as worthy of getting a Wikipedia entry. Therefore, we are following Wikipedia's lead, and defining anybody who has been elected to office as notable.)

Note: The Categorization help page asks you to assign the narrowest possible category, so please use the appropriate category for the province or territory where a politician was elected.
