Blythe Ferry was the gathering point for nine of the detachments that made the march during the forced removal of the Cherokees on the Trail of Tears during the winter of 1838-1839. This category should be used for individuals that are known to have been held at this encampment and started their march from this point. The site is now known at the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park at 6800 Blythe Ferry Lane, Birchwood, Tennessee.
