The Controversial Pedigrees category is a high level category for pages discussing disputed parts of traditional family pedigrees (those, for example, created by the College of Arms in support heraldic of claims that have later come under doubt). This allows the current discussions on both sides of the argument to be centralized instead of scattered across multiple profiles. The individual profiles should refer readers to the main page for that particular controversy for a full discussion of the controversy.
