The purpose of this category is to gather the emigrants born in Gothenburg and Bohus County (Göteborg och Bohus län), Sweden. This category should only be used for profiles born before 1998.

Gothenburg and Bohus was a county of its own until it was merged with Skaraborg county and Älvsborg county to form the new Västra Götaland county on January 1, 1998.

It was located in Götaland and consisted of Bohuslän province, the western part of Västergötland province and small parts of Halland and Dalsland provinces.
