The Holodomor (Ukrainian: Голодомо́р) was a genocide and man-made famine perpetrated by the Communists in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1932 and 1933, that killed up to 7.5 million Ukrainians.
Also known as the Terror-Famine and Famine-Genocide in Ukraine or sometimes the Great Famine and The Ukrainian Genocide of 1932–33.
