House of Moleworth
The House of Molesworth was an English Noble family, going back to Sir Walter Molesworth, who fought alongside King Edward in the 8th Crusade. This Category should be added to any descendant of Walter Molesworth, who still retain the surname, and have their family line connected into Walter's descent.
This Category separates this connected Molesworth family, from any Molesworth's who are not connected. This is important, because there is some historic suggestion that there was another Molesworth family, whose surname may appear spelt Mouldsworth, or Moldsworth.
Those listed under the Judge Molesworth Family or Molesworth-St.Aubyn Family subcategories, should not be listed in House of Molesworth too, because it is understood that these two subcategories are a part of the House of Molesworth. The Viscount and Pencarrow subcategories are only to be placed on those who have held the title of Viscount of Swords or Baronet of Pencarrow, and also don't need to carry the House of Molesworth category, because these titles are recognised descents of the Walter Molesworth.
Descendants of the House of Molesworth of note, include Sir William Molesworth, Justice Robert Molesworth KB, Lady Diana Spencer, HRH Prince William, HRH Prince Harry, Sophie Rhys-Jones Windsor Countess of Wessex, John Oxley, C.S. Lewis, Olivia de Havilland, Joan Fontaine, Alexander Frederick Douglas-Home PC KT MP (1903-1995), Dame Judi Dench & Olivia d'Abo. Many others also served in parliament or in various Royal armed services.
