The house of Pistohlkors (or Pistolekors) was founded by Jöran Olofsson who was ennobled by Queen Kristina, 22.ii.1645, and introduced into the Swedish nobility under nr. 321 in 1647. Branches of the family existed at various times in Finland, Sweden, and the Baltic States.
