During my time involved with Orienteering in Victoria, Australia (2007-present), we have been fortunate that only a handful of members have passed away.

Funeral Service was conducted on 2 Feb 2017 at the Blair Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Noble Park.

Funeral Service was conducted on 8 Aug 2017 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Oakleigh East
The following tribute was published in the Ballarat Courier
"MALONEY Kevin William Grocer and Orienteer Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2017 Aged 75 Much loved son of Vera and Vin (deceased). Brother of Michael, Peter, Margaret (deceased) and Joan. Respected uncle of Thomas, Michael, Rosemary (deceased), Caitlin, Felicity, Daniel, Mark, Mellita and Emma and great uncle of many! Stubbornly made it to the final control."

Memorial Service was held on 31 Oct 2018 at The Farm Yarra Valley, Warrandyte South
His daughter Katherine published this tribute on social media,
"30.4.1942 - 9.10.2018. Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Extraordinary orienteer, world champion rogainer, active cyclist and inventive handyman. He will be greatly missed. Private funeral will be held with memorial at a later date."
