Imperio Mexicano (Mexican Empire or First Mexican Empire) was the former territory of the Viceroyalty of New Spain (Virreinato de Nueva España). It extended from the Isthmus of Panama all the way to the border of present-day Oregon and west to include most of the present-day western United States of America to the present-day Louisiana and Arkansas borders. It was the largest country in North America at the time and consisted of 4.5 million square km.
