This is a Y-DNA surname study category to collect together in one place everyone and everything about the Y-DNA Jones Project participants in R-M269 - Family Group 01. This group currently includes kit id's:

All testers in this Y-DNA group have performed the FTDNA Big Y test. The furthest known SNP endpoint at this time is: R-A6906. This endpoint is downstream of R1b.

The two testers in this group have not yet figured out how they are connected. But it's believed they share a common paternal ancestor within the last 300 years or so.
