The National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, established on 15 July 1915, is an organization of women who are lineal descendants of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701, in one of the Original Colonies in what is now the United State of America. See Eligibility.

The Society's headquarters in Washington DC, constructed in 1884, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In 2015, the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century had 11,000 members in chapters in 46 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada. See States and Chapters.
