This NNS Ancestor sub-category of the New Netherland Settlers project contains profiles of some of the parents of immigrants to New Netherland, but who themselves did not immigrate to there.
The project includes reviewed and approved profiles of ancestors mostly in the Netherlands, known formerly as the Zeventien Provincies/Seventeen Provinces , the Spanish Netherlands, and by other designations. The NNS Ancestors category also contains some of those ancestors who are in the New_Netherland_Settlers Project. Some of those profiles may also be added to Dutch Roots, if they meet the additional guidelines of the Netherlands Project
For a primary hunting ground of profiles to be reviewed, discussed and sourced for possible inclusion in Netherlands Project, see the Project_Collateral-Prospect category. Other early Netherlands profiles may be found in the Project_Collateral category. Those profiles have an existing PPP lock on the LNAB. But be cautious about adding them directly to Dutch Roots, because the formerly chosen and protected LNAB may not conform to Dutch Roots guidelines.
