This category includes profiles with any spelling of Noland that the descendant or Noland researcher considers to be a brick wall, either by rumor or by proof. For example, my Noland line to George is fairly solid and supported by documentation. My family is fairly certain of a few generations beyond him, but lacks support for his parents, so I consider him a brick wall to be scaled. Yet I also consider his gr-gr-grandfather Pierce a brick wall, as rumor gets more firmly into fiction past him. So both profiles are included in this category.
