Indonesia first sent athletes to the Olympics in 1952. In that year, there were only three: Maram Sudarmodjo (men's high jump) , Habib Suharko( men's 200m breaststroke) and Thio Ging Hwie (weightlifting, men's 67.5 kg (lightweight)).
