A common ancestor matched by three or more DNA descendants is called triangulation. Triangulation research must support that the match is not through other common ancestors and a 30 cM or better is desired for each of the matches. 40 cM or better is recommended. If a profile can meet these criteria then it is a confirmed DNA match between those profiles.
Profiles with confirmed matches that meet this criteria can place the following sticker text in the profile:
{{One Name Study| name = Parker| category = DNA Confirmations, Parker Name Study}}
Profiles in this category should indicate which Parker family group they belong to whenever possible. Family groups are defined on the Family Tree Parker Y-DNA projects page. A link to that site is available on the Parker Name Study page.
