The School Sisters of St. Francis (SSSF) are an international religious community of Catholic sisters, part of the Third Order of Saint Francis, founded in 1874 in New Cassel, Wisconsin. We unite with others to build a just and peaceful world, and now have more than 1,000 sisters, associates, staff, donors and volunteers actively working to address the needs of those who are poor and marginalized by society. Our mission is thriving with five provinces serving the United States, Europe, Latin America and India.
