See the St George the Martyr page for more details.
The Church of St George the Martyr is located midway between the villages of North and South Clifton, and about a mile from each of them. It also serves as the main church for the nearby hamlet of Spalford.
At one time Spalford had it's own chapelry, but there are no separate records of any events occurring there.
St George also served as the mother church for the villages of Girton and Harby, but since the Victorian era these have had separate churches.
The individuals listed below were buried at St George the Maryr, or were interred elsewhere and have monuments to them in the churchyard.
