People who served in one of these units during peacetime should have these categories added to their profiles, i.e. Category: 1st Infantry Regiment, United States Army
If a person served in a unit during a war/conflict, they should be added to the unit category for that war, using the format of unit, branch, war, i.e. Category: 1st Infantry Regiment, United States Army, World War II
