Profiles are placed in this category with this text [[Category:Winchester National Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia]] . The Winchester National Cemetery; formerly Union, Poplar Grove and Yorktown, on nearly five acres at 401 National Avenue in Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia, was dedicated 1866 April 8th. There had been burials as early as '62 and numerous Civil War soldiers from surrounding battlefields were reinterred here. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
