Ethel Catherwood was an Olympic Gold Medal Winner for Canada.
In 1926 as an 18-year-old, Ethel set a world record in high jump, jumping 5′ 2 and 7/16 inches.
In the 1928 Olympics, she cleared 5′ 2 and 9/16 inches to claim the gold medal.
