James Catron has German Roots.
James Catron was a Kentuckian.

James was born on 17 Sep 1862 in Wayne County, Kentucky. He was able to read and write.

He married Rebecca Frances Buck on 3 Jan 1886 in Wayne County, Kentucky and they had 9 children.

It appears he resided in Wayne County, Kentucky his entire life.

He was a farmer. He may appear on the 1890 Veteran's Schedule, but since his name is common in his area, I can't confirm this completely.

He died on 14 Dec 1923 in Sunnybrook, Kentucky. His death certificate indicates that he died of tuberculosis of the bone. He is buried in Catron Cemetery in Sunnybrook, Kentucky.
