We have two transcriptions that no image is available. One states Jacob's birth is 1858 one states 1859, could that be because someone saw Virginia's birthdate so the transcription was changed it to a year after so it would make sense as they did not know she was (supposedly)adopted, or is she a blood CATRON. the census of 1870 has Ginny (Jennie on list) as age 12, and Jacob's age 11, that would be more in line that she is a natural born Catron.
