Katherine Catt was born in Sussex, England.

Katherine Catt was born on 18th November 1699 and christened on 22nd November 1699 at St. James & St. Mark Church in the Parish of Ewhurst, Sussex. She was the daughter of Thomas Catt and Catherine Bates. ^[1]

Katherine Catt married William Martin on 29th April 1736 at All Saints Church in the Parish of Mountfield, Sussex.^[2]

Katherine and William Martin had 2 children.

1. Elizabeth Martin b. 1738
2. William Martin b. 1741

Katherine Martin died in 1755 and was buried on 14th October 1755 at Mountfield, Sussex.^[3]

Research Notes

Death/burial dates discrepancy with "The Weald" which states date of death as 21 Oct 1755. Perhaps one is death and the later date is burial. To be investigated.
