Phyllis's mother, Ella, established the Younker family chain letter (at the suggestion of her brother, George). The chain letter was used to help this large family stay in touch, and to keep track of family relationships, new generations, etc. This information comes from the chain letter itself, which was still going strong in 1982.
Ella's daughter, Phyllis Cram, continued this tradition and made many historical/family history contributions to the chain letter.
