Brian Cave, Esq aka Bryan
Brian was the seventh son of Richard Cave Esq. of Stanford, by his second wife, Margaret Saxby.[1] He was born c. 1525 at Stanford Hall, Northamptonshire, England. His birth date is a guess, based on the birth date of his second son, Henry, born c. 1552.Brian married twice.
Throckmorton Kt. and Catherine Vaux, daughter of Nicholas Lord Vaux.[1] Margaret was the mother of all his children.

Brian was the Sheriff of the combined counties of Warwick and Leicester in 1558.[1] He was also the Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1569, and again in 1582.[1]
Brian's will was dated 30 July 1590 and proved 10 November 1592.[1] He died at Ingarsbie, co. Leicester, England.[1]
