Biography
Thomasine Cawton was baptized 12 Nov 1614 in St Swithin, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, the daughter of Nicholas Cawton and Ann Rastell.[1] She married William Coddington 29 May 1632 in Saint Mary Le Wigford, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.[2][3] Curiously enough, her sister Jane Cawton married William Dawson on the same date, but in a different church![4][5] Their first four children were baptized in England, but sometime in the 1640's they moved to Ireland. Her husband died 7 Oct 1657 in Holmpatrick, Dubin, Ireland. There is a marriage record of "Thomasin Codington" marrying John B. Clarke in 1688.[6] However, there is also a record for a death from a "caveat" for a "Thomasina Coddington" in 1679.[7]
Thomasina was born about 1607.
