Agnes Mary was the daughter of Edward Cayley and Catherine Isabella Blenkarne. She was born in London on 23 May 1863 and baptised at St Anthony's, Budge Row, London on 25 June 1863.[1]
The 1871 census lists Agnes, age 7, in her parents' household at South Leverton, Nottinghamshire.[2]
The 1881 census lists Agnes, age 18, on a lodging house in Dover, Kent.[3][4]
Agnes married Richard Lake Harrison at St Andrew's, West Kensington, London on 21 April 1887.[5] The marriage was registered in the Fulham district of London in the second quarter of 1887.[6]
The 1901 census lists Agnes at Kensington, London, age 38, born City of London. Husband Richard L, 47, solicitor, born Highgate, Middlesex. Daughter Norah, 13, born Kensington.[7]
The 1911 census lists Agnes at Kensington, London, age 47, born City of London. Husband Richard Lake Harrison, 57, born Highgate, Middlesex, solicitor.[8]
She was awarded the Order of Mercy for voluntary work with the sick in charity hospitals.[9]
Probate was granted on Agnes's estate on 6 February 1957, with her death date recorded as 24 October 1956.[10]
