Catharina Cederberg (married Laurent, then Almlöf) was an actress and opera singer (soprano).[1]
Brita Cathrina was born 16 September 1794. She was the daughter of Carl Magnus Cederberg, who was a metal worker at Svea Artillery Regiment, and his wife Brita Cathrina Berg.[2]
When she was barely 18 years old, 26 August 1812, Mademoiselle Brita Catharina Cederberg married the actor (and widower) Johan Baptiste Laurent. Her father, metal manufacturer Carl M. Cederberg, signed the banns.[3]
The Laurents had a son in Stockholm in June 1813.[4] He died in infancy.
Two children were born in Göteborg: Johanna Amalia (25 Aug 1814) and Axel Ludvig (9 Oct 1816). The birth of daughter Mathilda Cecilia (20 Feb 1819) was registered in Hovförsamlingen. The Laurents were divorced in 1819 or 1820.
In 1821 B. C. Cederberg lived with daughters Johanna and Mathilda Cecilia in jakob & Johannes.[5]
The actor Nils Wilhelm Almlöf and the actress Brita Christina(!) Cederberg, both at Kungliga Spektaklerne, married 22 February 1823.[6]
They were registered in Hovförsamlingen with the three surviving children from her first marriage and four children in common.[7]
